I've always wanted to be a Carpenter growing up. The older I got the passion for building became greater, big or small I just wanted to build things. After graduating from high school, I applied for every job in the carpentry field I saw and eventually obtained one. 

 

After a few years of stick building houses I was bored. In 2009 I had the opportunity to take part in an commercial Insul-Deck job. I was amazed at the product and what it could do, especially it being styrofoam?! Little did I know that the next five years would be spent travelling the province and being a part of some amazing & unique residential and commercial Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) & Legalett jobs for an award winning ICF company from Warsaw, Ontario. From schools to halls and multi storey high rise heavy commercial, those jobs were important in learning and using different sizes of block, building radius walls, gable ends and bracing patterns for tall wall pours. 

 

I strongly feel like that set me apart in my development as a licensed ICF installer. From there another fantastic opportunity arose with a prestigious residential ICF company that specialized in building on the lakes in Peterborough & The Kawartha’s. I was given the freedom and mentoring to build my skill set to where one day I could see myself operating my own company specializing in ICF and other green building practices such as Legalett and E-Deck. 

 

We serve Peterborough, Northumberland, Durham Region, The Kawartha’s and surrounding area. We look forward to continually networking with other ICF installers and contractors, educating ourselves and growing within the Insulated Concrete Form industry.
